If negotiation isn’t all about being tough and getting the most money out of a deal, then what is it about? Contrary to the traditional wisdom that negotiations shouldn’t be emotional. Today's guest Mori Taheripour shows that negotiation is not only intensely personal, but it is also the way we find our own voice.
In the episode, we chat about Mori's new book BRING YOURSELF: How to Harness the Power of Connection to Negotiate Fearlessly, we discuss the hidden danger of being the pleaser, abundance vs scarcity thinking, why the win is the wrong way to think, creating connection in a 'social distancing' world, and how expectations drive what we get more than we realize.
