There are characters that define the memories of childhood and bring nostalgic comfort as an adult. Many of us remember watching Saturday Morning Cartoons or reading the Sunday Morning Comic Strips. From Winnie the Pooh to Mickey Mouse to Charlie Brown the characters we love are more than animation, they become part of our development from childhood to adulthood. But these characters are more than simple animation. They embody the personality, life lessons, and hope for life. Jim Cummings is a legend in the world of voice acting and has voiced hundreds of animated characters for the last 36 years. His voice brings to life the animation by adding emotion and personality to the stories.

Jim has voiced Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, Pete from Mickey Mouse, Ray from the Princess and the Frog, and the Tazmanian Devil. In today's show, we sit down with Jim to learn about the process of bringing voice to animation, how he took a childhood passion and turned it into a career, finding hope in difficult situations, and more.
