Mike Compton of Three Chair Productions is a video expert.  He and his team work with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and corporations to craft a story through video.

In the episode Mike Compton shares how you can use well crafted videos to tell your story too.  We discuss the process of video production and how to use research to  create videos to represent you.  He walks us through the process of identifying, defining, getting to know, and communicating directly to your audience.   We also discuss creativity, collaboration, working with clients, the craft of storytelling, being an advocate for you client, the importance of trusting professionals, using video as an asset, and much more.

Before Co-founding Three Chairs with George, Mike Compton was a communications/ media production graduate from Michigan State University. As a senior at MSU he was able to get his first producing experience with Red Bull Energy Drink, producing their “Lawn Shorts” student film festival. He produced the festival and along with 5 other students won the chance to produce a film within the festival. That was it for him, he knew what his calling was.  He left my MI home base in 2001 to start a multimedia career in Tampa FL.

He mostly enjoy meeting new people, connecting dots and helping companies of all shapes and sizes navigate through the multimedia spectrum.
As a Husband to a native Michigander, a Father of Twin Boys, 2 cats and a dog, he is always on the go. If he is not out networking, in the studio or in the edit suite, you can best believe he is chasing down my boys or changing a diaper.
